Anti-vandal switch has time-saving termination options
The ULV series anti-vandal switch line from E-Switch provides several termination options: solder lug, direct wired, wired moulded boot, and detachable wired socket to meet the manufacturing process of finished goods.
The line is available at distributor Digi-Key.
The ULV4, ULV7, and ULV8 solder lug option can be wired in-house and the direct wire option provides 300 mm color-coded wire leads.
The low-pressure moulded boot with 500 mm long wire leads attached provides extra protection to wire cables and solder joints along with a shrink tube to offer additional protection to wire leads protruding from the base of the boot and the detachable socket provides a quick-connect option between the switch and power source.
A detachable socket comes prewired with 500 mm long leads.
The wire leads are compatible with a variety of standard connectors.
The termination options provide convenience, eliminate in-house labour or second sourcing to add wire leads before installation, and reduce lead-time and overall cost.
Panel cutout sizes for the ULV series include 19 mm, 22 mm, and 25 mm.
All sizes are UL certified and rated IP67 for dust and moisture protection.
