Tactile switch series offers advanced haptic features
RAFI USA has developed a compact switch that combines a tactile and acoustic response with a long operating life and secure contact connections. Designed for a wide range of applications including automotive, instrumentation, medical, test & measurement and more, the miniature MICON 5 tactile switch is available with a wide range of operating forces to deliver the required haptic characteristics for most any application.
Rugged relay designed for harsh inductive loads
TE Connectivity (TE) is pleased to announce the release of its new CII FC-335 series relay. Designed to manage harsh inductive, motor and lamp loads, this high-performance relay offers a rugged means of power switching in a range of aerospace, defence and marine applications. TE’s new relays are built to handle higher capacity loads than most comparable mid-range relays on the market, offering a 35A/28VDC resistive load rating.
Inductor delivers up to 250A continuous current rating
A Very High-Current Through-Hole Inductor - the Vishay Dale IHXL-2000VZ-5A – is available from New Yorker Electronics. The Vishay IHXL technology combines the metal composite construction of a pressed metal powder with an insulating binder which allows for high saturation magnetisation and high field strength – so it handles high transient current spikes without saturation.
Latest patent on zero-leakage high-voltage analog switches
ICsense, a TDK group company, is a supplier of analogue, mixed-signal and high-voltage ASICs (Application Specific ICs). The company has filed another patent to strengthen its portfolio in analogue circuits. The invention allows users to implement analogue, floating high-voltage switches that don’t load its connected lines. Contrary to existing solutions using large resistances and thereby large time constants, this invention provides a sol...
