Sealed emergency stop switch simplifies installation
Human machine interface controls and components provider, RAFI, has expanded its RAMO Series product offering to include emergency stop switches (E-Stop) for rugged applications. The RAMO Series pushbutton control components feature fully enclosed mono-housings with ingress protections of IP65, IP67 and IP69K, and standard M12 plug and play connectors.
Harsh environment switches with extended actuation
Now available from specialist distributor of electronic components, TTI, the new IP67-sealed model in the C&K K12S Series of switches is suitable for outdoor applications such as automotive door locks, boot openers, motorcycle handles and similar harsh environment uses including agricultural machinery and vehicles and off-road transportation.
Ultra-compact tactile switches for gaming controllers
Specialist in high-reliability connectors, C&K, has announced an expansive switch portfolio for designers of games controllers and gaming accessories. It offers a broad range of miniature tactile, ultra-miniature tactile and micro miniature tactile switches for PCB mounting. Designed for the most demanding applications, the switches can be customised in order to achieve the exact sound and feel desired.
Reliable safety switches for innovative machinery control
A new family of emergency stop (E-Stop) and stop switches have been introduced by HMI specialist EAO, suited for use in handheld and compact control applications where mechanical, electrical and environmental performance has to go hand-in-hand with severely restricted panel depth.
Second generation CANbus keypads and MMI controllers
HMI specialist EAO has introduced second generation Joysticks and Man-Machine-Interface (MMI) Controllers that combine technical characteristics with easy toolless installation. Developed by Grayhill, the new 3J CAN-based devices feature enhanced shock resistance and long mechanical life and are built to withstand rugged conditions typically found in agriculture, construction, and mining machinery.
Lead times cut on commercial IHLP inductors
To provide faster access to its most popular IHLP low profile, high current inductors, Vishay Intertechnology has introduced alternative versions of its commercial style IHLP with shorter lead times of 8 to 10 weeks. The devices offer designers alternatives to Vishay's 10 best-selling series of commercial, standard IHLP inductors that currently have extended lead times.
LED indicators give machine controls long-life light
The APEM QH Series Halo LED illuminated indicator is now available at TTI. Fitted with an APEM switch, the QH indicator gives focused interaction between human touch and machine, and is panel sealed to IP67 as standard.
Ultra subminiature five amp switch launched
It has been announced that Omron Electronic Components Europe is introducing its smallest ever microswitch with 5A rating. The new D2F-5 switch offers great ratings benefits and is very small at just 5.7x12.7mm and a height from 5.5mm depending on the operating lever chosen
LED indicators bring high brightness, long-life light
The QH Series Halo LED illuminated indicator from APEM is now available at TTI. Fitted with an APEM switch, the indicator gives focused interaction between human touch and machine, and is panel sealed to IP67 as standard. The QH Series is available in a choice of colours, using high-quality, hyper-bright LEDs.
Joystick controllers withstand rugged environments
HMI specialist EAO has introduced second generation Joysticks and Man-Machine-Interface (MMI) Controllers that combine outstanding technical characteristics with easy tool-less installation. Developed by Grayhill the 3J CAN-based devices feature enhanced shock resistance and long mechanical life and are built to withstand rugged conditions typically found in agriculture, construction, and mining machinery.
