Kyocera is expanding its LCD portfolio to include the TCG121WXLPAPNN-AN20, a new 12.1” WXGA LCD module with a 16:10 widescreen format and a 1280 x 800-dot display. Featuring materials that are perfectly suited for demanding use in industrial applications, this display stands up to the toughest conditions thanks to an expanded temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, a 170° horizontal and vertical viewing angle and sturdy construction.

It is also particularly well suited for user interfaces that require icons or use modern 16:9 illustrations in their design. This 277.7 mm x 182.5 mm x 9.8 mm module features a built-in LED driver, meaning that no additional components are necessary for backlighting. The LVDS interface guarantees easy operation using a 20-pole plug. Also, an evaluation kit based on Raspberry for the direct operation of the new display module is available.

Kyocera Display also offers additional widescreen-format displays measuring 4.3”, 7.0”, 8.5” and 10.1”. In combination with their long-term availability and local technical support, these
LCD modules are perfectly suited for industrial and health care applications.

Kyocera is actively committed to developing environmentally friendly products and is working to reduce the use of environmentally hazardous materials in industry. As a result, the company’s products comply with the EU’s Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive.*
