BVM has extended its embedded screen capability with the introduction of the TS range of LCD touch screen monitors, all available with resistive touch screens and USB controllers. Available in sizes from 9 inch to 12 inch, the rugged construction and metal bezel make these units ideally suited for use in applications as diverse as Point-of-Sale (POS) and Point-of-Information (POI) terminals, in-vehicle GPS computers, security monitors or medical equipment.
The TFT LCD screen is driven by analogue RGB via a VGA connector and the touch screen has a USB interface; the in-built controller supports resolutions up to 1024 x 768, which it scales to fit the native LCD resolution, and user parameters are set via OSD. Selected models have in addition two channels of video input, giving Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-on-Picture (POP) options selected by the remote control. The TSM version is for desktop or wall mounting and the TSC, complete with an integral VESA mounting, is designed for panel, swivel arm or ceiling mounting.

The units operate at 12 Volts and come complete with an external universal auto-sensing AC power source. Audio support is built in with two speakers and the units are supplied with a CD containing drivers for popular operating systems.
