Keyboard from Cherry has integrated fingerprint sensor targets Police and other security applications

Cherry’s range of G83-14401/15401 Fingertip ID keyboards feature an integrated fingerprint sensor and PC/SC smart card reader (G83-14401 only) and are aimed at professional users in applications such as the Police, banking, schools and retail.

The UPEK TCS1 capacitive fingerprint sensor with TouchChip® technology protects against unauthorised access, offering a resolution of 256x360 pixels. The optional smart card reader is Cardman 3121–compliant and connects to the PC via a USB cable.
