To meet the demand for wide screen HMIs, APLEX Technology has introduced two HMIs which feature 16:9 aspect ratio screens with a 10.1” and 21.5” LCD. The ARCHMI-710(P) and ARCHM-721(P), which are powered by Intel Atom N2600/D2550, are additions to the company's ARCHMI-7XX series.

As well as a resistive touchscreen, the HMIs are also available with an optional projected capacitive touchscreen which features a 7H anti-scratch surface. With a flat panel design, the fanless HMIs provide ease of cleaning, maintenance and dust free benefits.

Though slim, the HMIs feature rich I/O functionalities including: two USB 2.0, two GbE LAN RJ-45, one RS-232, one RS-232/422/485 (Default RS-232), one Audio Line Out, one HDMI Port, one 3-pin DC Power input terminal and one 2-pin power switch. Storage capabilities with one SD slot up to 32GB and one 2.5” STATA HDD are also offered with the wide screen HMIs.

The ARCHMI-710(P) and ARCHM-721(P) operate up to 50°C and feature a IP65 compliant front panel, making them suitable for industrial-grade applications such as factory automation, vision controller and digital signage and so on. By supporting both panel mount and VESA mount, the HMIs are easy to install.
