Frame grabbers boast high speed PCIe interface

A dual-channel frame grabber from Finland based video and test equipment manufacturer, Unigraf is available from display specialist Ginsbury. The UFG-07 HS Dual features a 4-channel PCI Express bus interface and is aimed at users who need to capture two simultaneous, high resolution video streams from varying sources.

The frame grabber can automatically detect and capture high definition video from any PC or HDMI/DVI or analogue video output without user intervention. The high speed PCI Express bus interface enables a data throughput that allows the simultaneous capture of two high quality, flicker-free Full HD 1080p60 video channels. A wide variety of standard PC video capturing tools can be used to store video streams.

The Unigraf UFG-07 product family is compatible with any application supporting DirectShow including VLC, GraphEdit, VirtualDub, Media Encoder and AMCap. The DirectShow AVStream driver provides full control of the video capture process, enabling the user to configure the resolution and optimum frame rate.

The driver set is compatible with both 32 and 64-bit applications in Windows 8, 7 and XP. Additionally, the UFG-07 series are directly compatible with their predecessor, the UFG-05 Series.

The product family includes three standard models providing dedicated features for various user needs. The UFG-07 HS and UFG-07 STDsupport all three common video interfaces: HDMI/DVI, RGB/YPbPr and S-Video/CVBS. For compatibility with various PC platforms, the UFG-07 HD features a 4-channel PCIe bus and the UFG-07 STD a single channel PCIe bus.

The multifunction frame grabbers are used in a wide variety of professional applications requiring a reliable video capture component with ease of integration. Typical applications can be found in industrial, medical, multimedia or marine environments.
