The RS13100 Wireless MCU from Redpine Signals is an ultra-low power dual-mode SoC with Bluetooth 5 and 802.15.4 capable of running ZigBee or Thread now available from Rutronik UK.

Providing the necessary connectivity options and processing power for audio, data transfer, location and controlling applications, it is an ideal solution for wearables, home automation, industrial automation, lighting and home appliance markets.

Based on an ARM Cortex M4F with up to 180MHz performance, up to 4MB dedicated flash and up to 400kB RAM, the SoC can handle even demanding operations smooth and efficiently.

To create a highly secure system, the RS13100 includes multiple levels of security including PUF (Physically Unclonable Function), Cryptographic hardware accelerators, Secure Boots and Secure Zone.

BLE 5 long range at 125kbps, a high data rate of 2Mbps and advertising extension ensure high connectivity.

The SoCs leading edge RF performance with up to 20dBm output power for BLE and 802.15.4 provide long range up and higher throughputs.

Thanks to integrated wireless stacks and profiles, the SoC can be easily integrated and evaluated.

With measurements of only 3.51mm x 3.60mm (SoC) and 4.63mm x 7.90mm (module), the RS13100 has an ultra-small form factor. Additional package options are available at www.Rutronik24.com as well. Unique peripherals like ULP sub-system, Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and up to eight capacitive touch sensor inputs complete the specifications.
