Lanner has released the NCA-1513, a desktop network appliance powered by Intel Atom C3000 (codenamed Denverton) CPU. The NCA-1513 features robust performance and Intel’s QuickAssist Technology, offering cryptographic acceleration and commercial-grade LAN functions in a 231x200x44mm form factor.

Intel Atom C3558/C3338/C3308 CPU and Intel QuickAssist Technology together greatly boost network responsiveness and security by distributing processing power to more critical applications and by offloading computationally intensive compression and encryption/decryption tasks; what’s more, the NCA-1513 is also armed with secure boot and support for TPM 2.0, K-lock.

The NCA-1513 offers 0~40ºC operating temperatures, Intel AES-NI, up to 16 GB of DDR4 2133/1866 MHz memory; for networking communications, the NCA-1513 can be configured with one of the following options:

  • Six GbE RJ45 with two pairs of Gen3 bypass
  • Four GbE RJ45 without bypass
  • Four GbE RJ45 with two pairs of Gen3 bypass & two SFP

For expansion and wireless connectivity via 3G, WiFi or LTE, the NCA-1513 delivers one mini-PCIe slot, one M.2 2280/2242 (SATA 3.0) slot and one M.2 3042 (USB 3.0) slot with one nano SIM for M.2. Other I/O includes one RJ45 console, two USB 3.0/2.0, one onboard EMMC (8GB) and one optional 2.5” HDD/SSD bay.
