USB drive offers both Type-A & -C USB connectivity

Expanding its family of high-performance TransMemory USB Flash Drives, Toshiba Electronics Europe has announced its first drive to combine Type-A and Type-C USB connectivity. The TransMemory-EX U382 is a 32GB USB pen drive offering a dual interface with both USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports, providing for quick and easy data transfer between the widest possible range of devices.

Based on Toshiba’s proven NAND flash memory technology, the TransMemory-EX U382 is USB3.0 Super Speed-compatible and provides read and write speeds up to 95 and 80MB/s, respectively.

The availability of Toshiba’s first drive to feature both USB Type-A and USB Type-C ports allows users to effortlessly bridge the gap between their existing hardware and the latest high-end mobile devices and PCs.”

The TransMemory-EX U382 will be available in Q3 2016.
