Broadband surface mount bias tee from Admiral
A new broadband surface mount bias tee with inputs from 10MHz to 30GHz is now available in the UK through exclusive, specialist distributor, Admiral Microwaves. Manufactured by Marki Microwave Inc, a world class supplier of high end microwave mixers and signal processing products up to 65GHz all ideal for both commercial and military markets. The BT-0030 is the latest device in a range of bias tees introduced to suit a wide range of RF and microwave applications where external biasing is required.
ThisTechnical specifications include frequency range from 10MHz to 30GHz, RF power handling of 1W, low DC resistance of less than 1ohm, high DC current of 500mA, and 1dB typical (2.5dB maximum) conversion loss.
Contained in a 6.1 x 3.8mm space saving package, the BT-0030 miniature bias tee is constructed with high temperature solder for reflow solderability. Evaluation boards are available.
Other bias tees in the Marki range include the BT-0065 with a frequency range from 4kHz to 65GHz, including 2.4mm connectors. Insertion loss is 1.7dB typical, 3dB maximum. The BT-0050 device operates of the 4kHz to 50GHz range, features 2.92mm connectors and has an insertion loss of 1.7dB typical, 2.2dB maximum.
