Manufacturer of wireless network antennas, KP Performance Antennas, has unveiled a new 900MHz, 10dBi, ±45 slant dual-polarised omni antenna for use in outdoor fixed wireless applications. This new omni-directional antenna from KP operates in the 824 to 928MHz frequency range and provides uniform, 360° coverage with minimal azimuth ripple and 10 dBi of gain.

It supports any 900 MHz access point radio (AP), including the popular Cambium PMP450i radio for point-to-multipoint installations. This new 900MHz omni antenna has 15° elevation beamwidth and is able to penetrate dense foliage with 900MHz, dual ±45° slant polarisation. The antenna comes with robust mounting hardware and is available to ship the same day.

Mike Inverso, Sales Director at KP Performance Antennas, explained: “A common obstacle faced by wireless network operators, especially during the spring and summer months, is dense foliage bloom, blocking signal pathways from the tower to the client. To help combat these NLOS scenarios, we have developed and released a brand new foliage-penetrating, high gain 900MHz omni antenna featuring 10 dBi of gain, dual ±45° slant polarisation, and 360° of wireless coverage.”

KP’s new 900MHz omni antenna is in-stock now and can be ordered directly from KP’s authorised distributors or from KP Performance Antennas.
