A COM-based project shortens project development schedules and reduces assembly and upgrade costs. NEXCOM understands that one of the main factors in a successful COM project is the availability of design-in services to help customers develop carrier boards.
Whether it is the Customer’s own carrier board design, NEXCOM’s customized carrier board developed according Customer’s specifications, or the Customer’s existing carrier board; NEXCOM COM Competence Center (CCC) provides a series of services designed to help partners win projects. Services include comprehensive document support, a customization facility, design assistance, and embedded OS support.

The new Competence Centre is designed to support customers looking to specify Nexcom’s Computer On Modules into future projects. The Nexcom range of Computer On Modules includes the new ICES 170 and ICES 270 platform’s which are based on the energy-efficient Intel Atom N270 CPU.
