Shuttle has announced the XPC Slim series DH170 in the UK. Built with the Intel H170 chipset, the DH170 supports the latest Intel Skylake processors. This ultra-compact system is purpose-built for easy installation in cramped spaces. The DH170 is equipped with the Intel H170 chipset, supporting up to 32GB of dual-channel DDR3L 1600 RAM, SATA 6Gbps, and USB 3.0 for fast data transfer speeds.

Dual Intel Gigabit LAN adapters support Wake-on-LAN and Teaming for increased bandwidth; users can connect to two different networks simultaneously or take advantage of combined throughput on a single network. Its VESA compliant chassis fills a mere 1.3 liters and measures 43mm thick for easy integration in any commercial application.

With two DisplayPorts and one HDMI connection, the DH170 is capable of supporting three simultaneous displays without any extra hardware. Each video output supports up to 4K Ultra HD resolution to meet high-end digital signage demands.

The DH170 includes a built-in M.2. 2260/2242 slot for high-speed SSDs and one half-size mini PCIe slot for add-on cards. It also includes generous inputs: four USB2.0 and four USB3.0 ports. In addition, two RS232 ports (one RS232/422/485) make the DH170 flexible to many commercial applications, supporting such devices as thermal printers, bar code scanners and more.

Featuring Shuttle's exclusive heatpipe technology and robust industrial capacitors, the DH170 is certified to reliably operate 24/7 in up to 50⁰C temperatures. Its smart fan keeps the system quiet and cool even under prolonged operation. It's also economical, using an efficient 90W power adapter to minimise long-term power consumption.
