A brand inspired by adventure

The name Roam represents freedom – an active lifestyle where valuables stay secure. Designed by tangerine, its brand indemnity has a wordmark that integrates a location pin within the ‘a’, reinforcing its purpose. Bold, adventure-inspired colours draw from premium urban fashion brands, making Roam both stylish and functional.

What the designers say

“As designers, we have a responsibility to create sustainable products. From the outset, we knew we couldn’t add another plastic tracker to the market that would end up in a landfill. Roam’s body is made from 100% recycled plastics, and we ensured easy disassembly to promote circularity. Throughout the design process, we collaborated closely with manufacturers to maintain Roam’s aesthetics and functionality,” said Lawrie Bellwood, Design Lead at tangerine.

“Romi approached us with an opportunity to introduce a new kind of tracker. We helped bring Roam to life – from concept to production – creating an innovative product and brand identity. For startups, scaling quickly is key, so we worked collaboratively to refine the design, solve production challenges, and visually showcase Roam’s unique offering,” said Martin Darbyshire, Chairman & Founder of tangerine Launching on Indiegogo.
