In order to aid the assembly of the company's family of industrial connectors, HARTING has introduced a range of tools. The range includes a slimline screwdriver, a four-indent crimp tool, crimping tools for wire gauges up to 70mm2, tightening torque tools for guiding pins and bushes, panel cutout punch tools for industrial connectors.

The four-indent crimp tool features a rotatable locator with integral marking of the crimp settings, making operation significantly easier. This enables high crimp quality with low operating force requirements.Suited for lean assembly, the slimline screwdrivers integrate insulation at blade diameter.

HARTING also offers battery- and hand-powered crimp tools for high-current contacts, providing a press force of 60kN in combination with 9mm wide DIN 46235 press dies for all HC contacts up to 70mm2. This facilitates crimp assembly without the need for a press force of 130kN.

The tightening torque tool features a fixed torque of 0.5Nm to allow over- or under-tightening impossible. It offers simple operation and reproducible quality.

HARTING's panel cutout punch tools enable a very simple cutout for customers using the most expedient connector. Eliminating the requirement for labour-intensive sawing, users can utilise a battery- or hand-powered hydraulic punching machine, in combination with the appropriate punch unit, to make the corresponding hole. The punch unit is available for various sizes including HARTING's Han B and Han-Compact connector families.
