SUYIN has forged a reputation on the market by supplying customized and application-specific adaptation of its interconnect solutions within a reasonable budget of time and money. The company’s range of offerings extends from customer-specific modification of existing connectors – with regard to both the electrical parameters and the housing design – all the way to completely new connectors developed in close collaboration with the customer.
Depending on the type of connector, this service is offered beginning at annual order volumes of 100 k units. The latest example of such customization is the elegantly shaped 3.5-mm audio jack from the M010063HR series, which features a housing design that has been perfectly adapted to the terminal device. This 4-conductor female connector, which has been fitted with switching contacts (normal open type) is shielded all the way around. Furthermore, including the shielding solder tails, it offers ten terminals for through-hole mounting. Processing is accomplished using the through hole reflow, pin-in-paste soldering process.

Its compact dimensions are 10.5 mm (width) x 15.35 mm (length) x 4.95 (height). Other important technical specifications for this completely Halogen-free audio jack include the low contact resistance of 30 mΩ (initial), the broad range of operating temperatures from –40 °C to +105 °C, and the number of mating cycles, which is specified at 5,000. The jacks are delivered in tape & reel packaging for automatic placement.
