D-Sub crimp connectors for vacuum applications
PROVERTHA has designed D-Sub crimp connectors specifically for vacuum technology applications. Featuring metal housings made of stainless steel and plastic insulators, the connectors can be used on the vacuum side and meet the most demanding 'low outgassing requirements'. The crimp connection ensures a mechanically stable, gas-tight connection with low electrical resistance.
In industry, production environments subject to vacuum or cleanroom requirements play an important role. Electrical vacuum feedthroughs for D-Sub connectors (standardised to MIL-DTL-24308 and DIN 41652) are suitable for the transfer of signals in a wide range of vacuum applications.
PROVERTHA has developed the new product series for this purpose. The connectors exhibit low gas release during final testing and are therefore suitable for vacuum applications. In addition, they are easy to clean.
Typical applications include vacuum technology and ultra-high vacuum technology (UHV), measurement and control technology, cleanroom and laboratory technology, the pharmaceutical industry, medical and safety technology.
Accordingly, the D-Sub connectors with materials made from vacuum-grade stainless steel and robust plastic offer complete hermetic and pressure-tight protection. PROVERTHA has presented the D-Sub crimp connector series for vacuum applications at Hannover Messe 2018 (Hall 11, Stand E28).
