The Series is IP67 compliant and tested to LV214 and USCAR-2 specifications.
Both MX80 pin and socket housings provide a Terminal Position Assurance (TPA) mechanism enables the detection of incomplete terminal insertion.
TPA prevents errors during assembly and it provides mating confirmation with a clear hearable click.
The tactile feedback contributes to connector reliability and ease of use.
MX80 Series lineup is growing by adding pin count, coding types and colors to prevent of incorrect mating of multiple harnesses.
The connectors have been developed for compact applications as mirrors, doors, lights, blind spot monitors.
