Bud Industries has introduced the DMX series DIN-rail-mounting enclosure, an attractive, easy-to-mount, NEMA-4X/IP-66 rated enclosure made of extruded aluminium and plastic endcaps. It holds up to three PCBs and it may be used independently or easily mounted on a standard 35mm DIN rail.

This flexible enclosure is suitable for DIN-rail-powered industrial controls, test devices, controllers and relays in power, lighting, industrial automation and security applications. An IP66 rating makes the enclosure suitable for dusty industrial settings or outdoor locations. Integrated slots for mounting PCBs are available as an optional accessory.

The DMX series extruded aluminium DIN-rail box is available in six widths. The extruded aluminium body provides strength and durability. The included black or gray polycarbonate plastic endcaps carry a UL94-V0 flammability rating and are sealed with an EPDM gasket that gives the enclosure an IP66 rating. Clear and red (infrared) end caps are available as options.

Bud will modify these boxes with holes, slots or cutouts to fit specific design requirements, within five to six days and at no extra cost. Accoring to the company, this is up to three times faster than the service most other enclosure suppliers provide.

The enclosure is available in six sizes ranging from 2.72x3.87x0.28 and 3.87x1.1x2.72 to 3.87x6.56x2.72". Different lengths may be special ordered.
