GFC gives approval to Keysight 5G NR test toolset
Keysight Technologies has gained Global Certification Forum (GFC) approval for 5G New Radio (NR) Non-Standalone (NSA) test cases, enabling the mobile ecosystem to accelerate protocol and radio frequency (RF) device certification. The company's 5G Conformance Toolset, which supports both Protocol and RF/RRM achieved GCF approval on January 16, 2019 at the recent Conformance and Interoperability Agreement Group meeting.

Sivers IMA and Ampleon agree 5G chip pact
Sivers IMA has signed a joint development agreement with Ampleon to develop the next generation millimetrewave (mmWave) chips for 5G base stations. Both companies will jointly develop the product and Ampleon will be funding parts of the Sivers IMA development by approximately 3.5m Swedish Kroner (341,000 Euro).
