Introduced to help achieve improvements in both stability and power consumption, the ZXRE330 3.3V shunt voltage reference has been launched by Diodes Inc. Pin compatible with industry-standard parts, the ZXRE330 is offered in surface-mount SOT23 and through-hole TO92 package options.

With a typical temperature coefficient as low as 20ppm/ºC, this precision micropower device provides highly stable performance across an industrial operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC.  Output voltage tolerance is tight, at ±2% at +25ºC for the ZXRE330E and ±0.5% at +25ºC for the ZXRE330A.

The ZXRE330’s low power performance is a result of its very low knee current, 1µA typical, with excellent performance maintained over the device’s full operating current range of 2µA to 5mA. The ZXRE330 reference has also been designed to be highly tolerant of capacitive loads and requires no output capacitor.  In addition, its low output noise performance of 55µVRMS ensures a clean output from 10Hz to 10kHz.

The ZXRE330 shunt voltage reference is priced at $0.27 USD each in 1k piece quantities.
