Single output power supplies keep their cool
Powersolve has just announced new AC-DC power supplies designed to provide high power from a low-profile U Channel, open frame package. These are single output power sources that provide voltages from 12 to 48VDC from a universal AC input with active PFC.
According to Powersolve, the 19 model PP150 – PP500 Series is designed to provide users with an efficient and reliable power source that can operate between a wide temperature range of -20ºC to +70ºC. Most units are designed for convection cooled applications while a fan is required for all models 500W.
Remote On/Off control is incorporated into the higher power PP350 and PP500 power models while every unit has output short circuit protection as well as protection against overvoltage, overload and over temperature.
