Designed to provide up to 20W for medical equipment applications, the PME05, PME10, PME15 and PME20 series single output power supplies have been introduced by Powersolve. Each series is comprised of 5, 12, 15 or 24VDC output models featuring Class II isolation, a rugged plastic housing and free air convection cooling.

According to Powersolve, these power supplies feature a no-load power consumption of less than 0.5W which will satisfy an increasing number of 'green' applications.

Operating from a universal 85-264VAC input across a -20 to +70°C temperature range, the power supplies are approved to EN61000-4-2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 11 and EN60601-1-2: 2001+1: 2006 Life Supporting Equipment which makes them suitable for use in any medical system application. They also feature immunity to EN61000-3-2: 2006 Class A, EN61000-3-3: 1995+A1 :2005 and meet EN55011: 2007+A2: 2007 Class B.
