Single Output 20W Power Supplies from SL Power Combine Low Cost with High Reliability
SL Power Electronics, a leader in the global AC/DC internal and external power supply market, has announced a new series of compact, 20W single output power supplies designed specifically for the volume commercial OEM who is looking for a reliable power source at a budget price.
The GECA20 Series provides a single output of 5.1, 12, 15 or 24V from a wide AC input range of 90 – 264VAC. Normal continuous output power from this convection cooled unit is 20W, with a peak of 25W available for 60 seconds. Operating temperature range is 0 to 85ºC.
A key feature of the new series is its size. With a height off the board of just 21.5mm (0.85in), the GECA20 units have a footprint of 89 x 51mm (3.5 x 2in).
The new power supplies are fully protected against short circuit and output overload as well as over voltage. They are also fully RoHS compliant, CE marked to LVD and come with a two year warranty.
According to SL Power, the new power supplies are approved to UL60950-1: 2003, CSA-22.2 No 60950-1-03, IEC and EN60950-1. Conducted EMI exceeds FCC Class B and CISPR 22 Class B.
