Reliable Half-Brick withstands a 100V, 100ms Transient

Power-One has announced its 300W HBC48T25120 isolated DC-DC converter. This 9.6 to 13.2 Vout half-brick utilizes a robust design that facilitates an 8.7 Million Hour MTBF, the capability to withstand a 100V transient for 100ms, and operation over a -40 °C to 85 °C ambient temperature range.

Other high-performance features include no minimum load operation, the capability to start-up into pre-biased loads, a 36-75VDC input range, and an on-board LC filter. The HBC48T25120 utilizes an open-frame single-board design and offers an optional base plate.

Internal protections include input undervoltage, output overvoltage and overcurrent, and overtemperature. Interface capabilities include remote sense, industry-standard output-voltage trim equations, and positive or negative logic remote on/off options.

Compliances include RoHS, UL94 V-0 flammability, UL60950, and IEC/EN60950. Pricing is $61.00 each in quantities of 1000. Samples are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks.
