Rectifier's high efficiency suits telecomms power supplies
Offering current ratings of 5-30A, Vishay Intertechnology has announced the introduction of 15 200V Gen-2 TMBS (Trench MOS Barrier Schottky) rectifiers. Providing high-efficiency for telecomms power supplies and LED lighting applications, the V(B,I)T5202, V(B,I)T10202C, V(B,I)20202G, V(B,I)20202C and V(B,I)30202C rectifiers feature typical low forward voltage drops of 0.65V at 15A.
The rectifiers are all available in the power TO-263AB and TO-262AA packages; the 5A V(B,I)T5202 is also available in the TO-220AC package, while the 10A V(B,I)T10202C, 20A V(B,I)20202G and V(B,I)20202C and 30A V(B,I)30202C are available in the TO-220AB package.
The TO-263AB package offers an MSL moisture sensitivity level of 1, per J-STD-020, LF maximum peak of +245°C; while the TO-220AB, TO-220AC and TO-262AA packages feature maximum solder bath temperatures of 275°C, 10s, per JESD 22-B106.
Operating over a temperature range from -40 to +175°C, the rectifiers are compliant to RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU and halogen-free according to JEDEC JS709A standards.
The Gen-2 TMBS rectifiers are available now for sampling and in production quantities, with lead times of eight weeks for larger orders.
