Designed for mobile, battery-powered detector applications, the P series micro-power high voltage power supplies have been introduced by EMCO High Voltage. Offering fully regulated and programmable outputs of 0-1200 or 0-2000V, the power supplies consume less than 4mA at full output.

Targeting very sensitive detector applications, the power supplies feature a unique inductor/transformer-less design and low noise circuitry in a shielded case less than a 0.25" tall. The P series also features a soft-start feature specifically designed to protect sensitive detectors used in portable radiation and explosives detection equipment.

Enabling plug-and-play designs, the power supply series includes a precision on-board voltage reference for full scale, fixed or variable output configurations. The P series accommodates a wide input voltage range of 5-12V, features ripple of less than 100μV peak to peak and provides on-board voltage monitoring as a proportional 1000 to 1 voltage.

Available with positive and negative outputs, the P series of high voltage power supplies are available from stock in a lightweight, miniature PC-mount package.
