Power management company Eaton has released full details of its range of continuing professional development (CPD) seminars. Topics ranging from lighting to security, and are all accredited by CPD, RIBA or CIBSE.

he accreditation means that participants earn points towards their chosen CPD scheme.

Seminars are delivered by the company highly qualified team of trainers, allowing participants to acquire useful knowledge from which to draw when making decisions on specifying, purchasing, designing, installing or operating equipment, says the company.

A CPD Training Brochure provides information about the 13 accredited seminars that are currently available in the UK. These include de-energising the office, Building Regulations Part L2 overview, LED lighting, understanding how intruder alarms work, power factor correction, and basic 'fuse-ology'.

As an additional learning aid, many of the seminars include practical sessions where participants engage with simulated real-life scenarios. Timing and location of the seminars can be chosen to minimise the impact on working hours, wither at the company UK Training Centres, or at customers’ premises during 'lunch and learn' sessions.

Copies of the new brochure, which gives full details of how to arrange and book places on the seminars, can be downloaded from electricalsector.eaton.com/TrainingUK. Further information can be obtained by sending an email to CPDUK@eaton.com.
