Output power supply features 100ms pulse time
Globtek has announced the availability of its GTM91099 model 24V, 60W output power supply, with a high surge power feature, of 7.5A (180W) output capability for 100mS pulse time. This model is DoE Efficiency Level VI compliant, and safety certified for Medical, ITE and general purpose products.
This capability is suitable for handling motor starting current surges, electric valves, and other types of gear. Due to its small size, and economic 60W design, it can help keep OEM product system costs under control.
Bespoke, customised enclosure colours, housing designs, output cord types and lengths, as well as customised packaging, Open Frame or ruggedised to various degrees of Ingress Protection, such as IP52 or potted IP68 versions are available upon request.
According to BS EN 60529 and IEC 529, IP52 signifies that the medical (60601-1) power supply is protected against dust - limited ingress (no harmful deposit) as well as protected against direct sprays of water up to 15°C from the vertical.
