Power Supply expert Lambda now provides a truly comprehensive range of products with the addition of the TDK Innoveta family of DC-DC converters following Lambda's acquisition by TDK last year. These industry leading products combine high efficiency and reliability with competitive pricing, and are available in versions ranging from DOSA packaged point of load converters rated from a few tens of watts to the 'full brick' delivering a market leading 700W.
Incorporating patented low loss MOSFET synchronous rectification technology and benefiting from planar magnetics construction, TDK Innoveta converters are ideally suited for use in distributed power and telecom applications, including ATCA.

All models in the range offer high power density, easy thermal management and full RoHS compliance, as well as a choice of input voltages and wide range output trimming to provide maximum versatility.

To complement the Innoveta range of surface mount, point of load converters, with an industry leading efficiency of typically 95%, a range of BUS Converters with input/output divide by 4 conversion ratio are available.

Pico-brick converters in the Innoveta range, that measure just 30.5 x 29.3 x 8.1mm, can deliver their full output power at temperatures up to 70ºC and are available with outputs from 1.2V to 18V.

Sixteenth-brick types, rated at 75W, provide more usable power than many eighth-brick designs and are offered with outputs from 1.2V to 12V. While eighth-brick Innoveta converters, which can be supplied with outputs from 1.2V to 28V, deliver the same output power as conventional quarter-brick models, yet occupy only 40% of the space.

For applications requiring even more power, Lambda offers quarter-, half- and full-brick models, with output powers up to 300watt, 450watt and 700watt respectively. Available output voltages are 1.2V to 35V for quarter-brick types, 1.2V to 28V for half-brick types and 12V to 30V for full-brick types.

Input voltage ranges depend on the model of the converter, but most types are available in versions which can operate from any DC supply in the range 36V to 75V. A wide range of alternative input options are available for specific models.
