The new XC6118 and XC6119 are 0.8µA low-power consumption supervisors that enable a delay time to be set up externally by connecting only a single capacitor to the ICs delay capacitor pin. In addition, the XC6118 also has a sense pin (VSEN) to monitor a separate power supply.
Manufactured using CMOS technology, the new supervisors are particularly suitable for applications such as re-setting microprocessors, memory battery back-up switches and power failure detection circuits. The operating voltage range of the XC6118 is between 1.0V and 6.0V while with the XC6119 it is from 0.7V to 6.0V. The detect voltage can be selected within the range of 0.8V to 5.0V in 100mV increments for both types, and the operating temperature range is -40° to +85°C.

Both CMOS and N-channel open drain output configurations are available. The XC6118 series comes in an ultra small USP-4 package (1.6 x 1.2 x 0.6mm) as well as SOT-25, whereas the XC6119 is available in a SSOT-24 (SC-82) package and a tiny, ultra low profile USPN-4 package (1.2 x 0.9 x 0.4mm).
