A range of miniaturised DC/DC converters has been released by TRACO POWER. The TDN-WI family measures 0.52x0.36x0.40” with a wide 4-to-1 input range and 1,600VDC Isolation. The company claims that the 5W models offer the world’s highest power density.

The TDN family of isolated converters consists of three power ranges (1, 3, 5W families), each power range consisting of 48 models offering through-hole or surface-mount (add suffix SM) package types, input ranges of 4.5-13.2, 9-36 and 18-75VDC and regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, ±15VDC. All models include remote On/Off, short-circuit, over current protection and EMC according EN55022 class A.

The 1W models operate over a temperature range of -40 to 90°C full load, 3W models offer -40 to 70°C full load and the 5W models are rated -40 to 70°C with full power to 50°C. The small size and wide input range of these converters make them suitable for a range of applications when space is limited. The reliability of these converters is supported by TRACO POWER’s three year product warranty.

Products are in stock and available through distributors around the globe with manufacturing lead times of eight weeks.
