Medical power supplies feature BF rated outputs
A series of medical power supplies, which provide 200W of power and feature both BF rated outputs and Class I and II AC grounding schemes in a 76.20x127mm footprint, has been released by Power Partners. Single output voltage models provide 12, 19, or 24VDC and are augmented by an optional +5VDC standby output. Remote on/off is also optional.
The power supplies are suitable for a variety of medical and dental products for home health care or hospital/office/lab based applications, accepting either Class I or Class II inputs and a wide input voltage of 85-264VAC. Measuring 37.59mm in height, the devices meet 1U space requirements.
The PMAM200 power supplies are approved to the highest safety standards, including EN/ES60601-1 3rd Edition, rated for Means Of Patient Protection (2xMOPP) isolation, and meet FCC and EN55011 Class B limits of both radiated and conducted EMI. The ‘Green Power’ design features a no load power consumption of less than 0.5W.
The power supplies are offered with overvoltage, overload, short circuit, and over temperature protection, and have a MTBF of more than 100,000 hours at full load and 25°C ambient.
