Mean Well has unveiled its green wall-mounted medical adaptor with interchangeable AC plug, the 18W GEM18I series. This adaptor is designed with a four-way interchangeable AC plug, fitting European, USA, U.K. and Australian sockets. The design is approved for IEC60601-1 3rd, EN60601-1-11, and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1-11 household medical regulations.
Compliance with 2xMOPP and leakage current under 100uA make GEM18I suitable for BF (direct contact with patients) medical equipment. In addition, the supplies are compliant with up-to-date international energy saving standards (EISA 2007/DoE Level VI) and EU ErP.
GEM18I is a secure, long lifetime, energy-saving medical adaptor, suitable for use with various types of household medical appliances, portable medical devices for business travellers, or medical equipment which requires an interchangeable AC plug.
Accepting universal input of 80-264VAC, the supplies offer no-load consumption of less than 0.075W and operate over the temperature range of -20 to +50°C. Approved to UL/CUL/TUV/CB/FCC/CE, the devices protect against over-voltage, overload and short-circuit, and boast a three year warranty.
