Low voltage power supplies feature a 10-year E-cap lifetime
Expanding the ZWS300BAF series of single output power supplies, TDK-Lambda have announced the addition of 12 and 15V models with active power factor correction (PFC). The power supplies are suitable for applications including industrial equipment, test and measurement and front-end equipment for broadcast and communications.
Operating from a universal input of 85 to 265V AC, the ZWS300BAF features a 10-year E-cap lifetime for superior reliability in the field.
In addition to the 12 and 15V models, the ZWS300BAF is available with output voltages of 24, 36 and 48V, each adjustable by up to ±10% of its nominal voltage to accommodate non-standard system voltages. Standard features include over current and over voltage protection circuitry and an optional remote on/off is also available. Achieving up to 91% efficiency (at 24V), the ZWS300BAF features an operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C, allowing 100% load operation in a 45°C environment (convection-cooled) and 60°C with 0.7m/s airflow.
With active PFC that meets EN/IEC61000-3-2, the ZWS300BAF has a 3kV AC input to output isolation and meets conducted and radiated EMC conforming to EN55011/EN55022-B, FCC-B, VCCI-B. Delivered with TDK-Lambda’s five-year warranty, the ZWS300BAF is safety-approved to UL/CSA/EN60950-1 and EN50178 and carries the CE mark, according to the LV Directive and RoHS Directive.
