Transmitting both power and data over a single cable is a simple idea – a plug-and-play solution. However as the amount of current increases, so does the danger of fire, therefore it is essential to protect electronics from overcurrents and SCHURTER offers fuses to provide this protection. The USF 0603 from SCHURTER is a suitable fuse for PoE applications. This thin-film fuse measures 1.6mm long, 0.8mm wide and 0.6mm high.
