Fire and security system power supplies are EN54 rated

Stadium Power has announced that they offer a variety of competitively priced Fire and Security system power supplies and battery chargers. The company's products for Fire and Security systems meet the requirements of the EN54-4 1998 standard, including amendments 1 and 2.

EN54 Fire Detection and Fire Alarm Systems is a mandatory standard that specifies requirements and laboratory tests for every component of a fire detection and fire alarm system. The standard is recognised in Europe and widely around the world including Latin American countries, Brazil, African and Asian countries and several islands in the Pacific Ocean.

Models include 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10A versions at 13.8V DC and 27.6V DC. All units include battery impedance test and operate at high efficiency. Typical specifications include: single output plusbattery charger; deep discharge battery protection; reverse battery protection; low touch currents and an operating temperature range from 0 to +50°C. All models offer the facility of user-defined output signals and signal levels.

Designed to meet the requirements of EN54-4 1998 including amendments 1 and 2, the EN54 range from Stadium Power also meets the requirements of EN61000-3-2 PFC Class A and EN55022 ‘B’ for conducted noise and are CE marked to the Low Voltage Directive.
