You can’t believe that this is possible? Simply visit the OMICRON Lab booth at the PCIM Nuremberg (Hall 6, Booth 228) and let Dr. Ali Shirsavar of Biricha Digital show you how you can drastically speed up your power supply design process. Topology selection, compensator design and simulation can’t be faster.

With the new design software WDS, analog and digital compensator design is getting safer, faster and more intuitive. After simulation and design, system verification is essential since the impact of an unstable or poorly performing power supply is mission critical for the functioning of every electronic system.

Measuring power supply parameters such as loop stability, PSRR or output impedance has often been considered difficult and time consuming. On our booth we will demonstrate how easy and quick you can determine all important power supply characteristics in the frequency domain. By using our Bode 100 Vector Network Analyser in combination with the Picotest Signal Injectors every power supply design engineer has access to state-of-the art measurement tools for frequency response measurements on all major SMPS topologies and linear voltage regulators.

Sometimes access to the feedback loop is not possible due to the design or system constraints. For such cases the power supply measurement expert Mr. Steve Sandler has developed a new method to measure the phase margin non-invasively without breaking the loop. Let Steve show you how to perform this measurement and many other important verification methods directly at our booth.

Of course, we have a high variety live measurements prepared for you! Stop by and see how to analyse buck/boost voltage regulators or constant current sources in just a few minutes. If you want, you can even bring your own design and we will set up a measurement together!

So stop by and visit us at our booth (6-228)!
