Aimtec announces a 2 W series DC/DC converter, the AM2M-NZ, and also broadens their existing 1 W series, the AM1M-NZ, with the addition of new models. These new converters feature output voltages with 1500 or 3000VDC input to output isolation tested over a 60 second cycle during manufacturing. Both series are designed particularly with very low Isolation capacitance and supports a wide variety of input voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15 and 24VDC convert to single and dual output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15 & 24 VDC.

The 2 W series operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C with no derating. The 1 W models function at an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Derating starts at 85°C and goes down to 80% at 105°C.

These series are designed to be integrated into a multitude of applications, such as IGBT drivers, RF digital circuits, low frequency analog, relay drive circuits or precision control applications.

The converters are available in a compact Dual inline DIP14 package, 20.00 x 10.00 x 7.00 mm for the new 1 watt models and 20.32 x 10.16 x 8.2 mm for the AM2M-NZ series. Offered with 2 choices of input to output isolation of 1500VDC or 3000 VDC for easy integration in industrial, telecommunication, automation control and computer applications.

Samples are available from stock and can be ordered immediately from any of Aimtec’s global network of franchised distributors. Visit www.aimtec.com for more product information or to locate your nearest Distributor.
