To meet the demand for higher wattage applications, the IRM-30 series of power supplies has been released by MEAN WELL. The 30W power supplies are on board type power supplies suitable for the PCB boards of electronic instruments or industrial automation equipment. To help system designers make the most of the space they have on the PCB, MEAN WELL has designed the power supplies with a low volume.

The power supplies feature a no load power consumption of less than 0.1W, allowing the system to meet the low power consumption requirement regulated by worldwide energy efficiency norms. The series consists of five models with output DC voltages of 5, 12, 15, 24 and 48V which accept 85-264VAC input. With a Class II design (no FG), the series incorporates built-in EMI filter components. Enabling the compliance with EN55022 Class B, the series protects the end electronic units from electromagnetic interference.

The power supplies operate from -30 to +70℃ under free air convection and have an efficiency up to 90%. The 94V-0 flame retardant plastic enclosure is filled with heat conductive silicone, enhancing the heat dissipation ability, fulfilling 5G anti-vibration demand and possessing fundamental resistance to dust and moisture.

Protection functions include short circuit protection, overload protection and over voltage protection. The power supplies, which are UL, CUL, TUV, CB and CE approved, are also available in a terminal block type (IRM-30-ST). The power supplies are suitable for industrial electrical equipment, mechanical equipment, factory automation equipment and hand-held electronic device.
