With frame sizes of 50, 60, 75, 97, and 120mm and airflows ranging from 2.6-54.7 CFM, CUI Devices has announced the introduction of its CBM line of DC centrifugal blowers. The CBM‑75B, CBM‑97B, and CBM‑120B series utilise ball bearing construction, while the CBM‑50V and CBM‑60V series feature CUI Devices' omniCOOL system.

This advanced sleeve bearing design incorporates a magnetic structure that enables rotor-balancing to minimise tilt, wobble, and friction, allowing for operation at any angle.

It also integrates a specially hardened sleeve that provides additional heat resistance and extends operational life, while decreasing fan noise and friction due to a reduced need for lubricant.

All models in the CBM series come as standard with auto restart protection and feature static pressure values ranging from 0.15-5.22" H20, making them suitable for forced air cooling in high back pressure industrial and telecommunication applications.

The CBM series further offers 12 and 24VDC rated voltages, current ratings as low as 40mA, multiple speed options from 1,900-6,800 RPM, and noise levels as low as 23.4dBA.

These DC blowers also hold UL/cUL 507 and TUV EN 60950-1 safety approvals, comply with EN 61000-6-1:2007 limits for EMI/EMC, and carry a typical MTBF rating of 70,000 hours at 40°C.
