There are several themes to the Recom portfolio, including medical, railway, integrated lighting, low, mid- and high power density modules. Among the latest releases is the RAC05-K/277 5.0W AC/DC modules designed for industry 4.0, the IoT and smart home.

The supplies operate at a wide temperature range, from -40 to +90°C and accept input voltages of up to 305V AC with peak power capability of up to 6W.

The modules are built to operate from extended input lines with mains voltages from 85V AC up to 305V AC, are EMC-compliant to EN55022 class B with a minimum 6dB margin on both radiated and conducted readings without requiring external components.

The PCB-mount or wired modules are compact, with a footprint of 25 x 31.75mm (1.0 x 1.25-inch), with protected outputs and international safety certifications for industrial, household and ITE for worldwide use.

The company offers development support, including a universal half-bridge reference design for IGBT, SiC and GaN transistors. The design compares the performance of various high power IGBT, first/second generation SiC, GaN, MOSFET and Cascode switching technologies to allow engineers to evaluate technologies’ switching performances before deciding on the appropriate technology for an applications.
