Introducing 50 and 65W models, CUI has expanded its Level VI desktop AC/DC power supply family. Set to go into effect in February 2016 in the US, the Level VI standards mandated by the US DoE aim to lower the amount of power consumed when the end application is not in use or is no longer connected to the system. The SDI50-U and SDI65-U series meet these more stringent efficiency and no load power requirements.

The power supplies feature a wide universal input voltage range of 90-264VAC and are available in single output voltages of 9, 12, 15, 18, 19, 24, and 48VDC depending on the series. Both the SDI50-U and the SDI65-U are housed in a compact package measuring 115x53x38mm (4.52x2.08x1.50") with an IEC320/C14 AC inlet.

Offering UL/cUL, GS and PSE safety approvals and meeting the radiated and conducted emission requirements for FCC Part 15B Class B, the SDI50-U and SDI65-U are designed for global applications. Additional features include over voltage, over current and short circuit protections.

The SDI50-U and SDI65-U series are available with prices from $20.68 each in 100 unit quantities through distribution. Contact CUI for OEM pricing.
