Dual channel MOSFETs simplify synchronous buck design
Advanced Power Electronics have today announced a new asymmetric-dual N-channel enhancement mode power MOSFET, the AP6950GYT. Intended for synchronous buck DC-DC converter power designs, the AP6950GYT is packaged in a small 3mm square PMPAK 3x3.
High-stability power supply modules for mass spectrometry
HiTek Power has today announced the introduction of two products to its range of power supply modules designed specifically for the mass spectrometry market. Featuring reversible outputs for use in precision applications, the Series MSRZ and Series MSRF are high stability power supply modules offering 3.2W output power at voltages between ±1kV and ±10kV depending on the model.
Riedon power film resistors offer high-frequency performance
Riedon has today announced a cost-effective power resistor design achieving superior performance in high-frequency applications and high-speed pulse circuits. The various TO-style resistors within Riedon’s PF family are non-inductive and use an advanced power film formed on a heat-conducting alumina substrate that is metalized and soldered to a heat-dissipating copper plate tab.
Minmax switching regulators reduce costs and increase performance
Minmax Power have today expanded their M78A and M78SA switching regulators, which are pin-compatible and size-compatible with older and less-efficient LM78xx devices. Supplied in industry-standard TO-220 SIP packaging, the M78A can be used as "drop-in" replacements that reduce the power consumption of applications without costly or time-consuming circuit redesign.
Rochester reintroduce Intel power microcontroller
Rochester Electronics has been authorized to continue supplying Intel's TP80C51FA since its end-of-life notification eight years ago. As part of its Extension-of-Life Solutions, Rochester Electronics continues to manufacture and stock Intel's TP80C51FA Power Microcontroller, which is from the MCS 51 controller family.
NXP launch new voltage-translating I2C-bus buffer
NXP has today introduced a new Fast-mode Plus I²C-bus buffer, designed for emerging server applications that use DDR4 SDRAM memory. The PCA9617A breakthrough voltage-translating bus buffer allows engineers to design next-generation server systems using new DDR4 technology with the I²C-bus operating at up to 1 MHz, and voltage level translation of 0.8V on the CPU side to 2.5V on the SDRAM module side.
Linear introduce precision 80µV offset op amp
Linear Technology have announced the launch of a new single Over-the-Top operational amplifier with outstanding precision over a 0V to 76V input common-mode voltage range. Delivering no-compromise performance over wide operating supply and temperature ranges, the LT6015 incorporates multiple built-in fault tolerant features.
New DC-DC controller IC meets low power demands
Torex Semiconductor have today introduced a new a step-down DC-DC controller IC designed specifically for applications that require high efficiency and low power consumption. The XC9252 operates from inputs up to 30V and requires only 30µA when operating in PFM mode under no load conditions. This helps meet the low power consumption demanded by an increasing number of applications.
Simultaneously charge up to 10 USB-powered devices
Powersolve has today introduced a new 60 Watt USB charger featuring 10 ports. The PLV60-USB has been specifically designed for any electronic device that can be charged from a standard USB output, including tablets, mobile phones, cameras, MP3 players and power banks.
New high precision zero flux current sensors
Without the right equipment, precision power measurements can cause problems and delays. The LMG series precision power analysers from ZES ZIMMER offer an attractive solution. Current sensors are needed to measure high currents, which divide the current by a fixed ratio. To meet these needs ZES ZIMMER has also introduced the new DS200 and DS600 current sensors based on the zero flux technology.
