The BMOD0189P051B2A 51V module is based on Maxwell Technology’s 48V module platform and includes the benefits of DuraBlue Advanced Shock and Vibration Technology. This combines Maxwell’s patented dry electrode formulation and manufacturing process with a robust proprietary cell structure, resulting in a cell that meets or exceeds some of the most demanding shock and vibration requirements of transportation markets.

The module, which is available at Richardson RFPD offers active balancing, 2.85V cell technology, heat sinks on the top and bottom of the module, and an integrated fan for extreme duty cycle cases.

It is ideally suited for rugged environment applications, including hybrid vehicles, rail, heavy industrial equipment, and UPS systems.

The module is compliant with shock (IEC 60068-2-27 and 2-29) and vibration (ISO 16750-3, Tables 12 and 14) standards.

Other features include redundant over-voltage alarm, and advanced capacitor management system (CMS). It is RoHS- and REACH-certified.
