To meet the growing demand for DIN rails with power supply installed, MEAN WELL has released 40 and 60W DIN rail security power supplies. The DRC-40 and DRC-60 series, which can be mounted on TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15 DIN rail, have both a primary output and a charger output, providing a DC UPS function.

The two series accept 90-264VAC full range input and each consists of two models with different DC output voltages, 13.8 and 27.6V. The power supplies, which are designed without a built-in fan, operate from -30 to +70℃ under free air convection and have a working efficiency of up to 88%.

To provide AC OK and battery low alarm signals (DRC-40 series also provides the optional model employing relay contact), the DRC-40 and DRC-60 use the TTL signal and relay contact. Other functions of the two series include short circuit protection, overload protection, over voltage protection, battery low cut off, battery reverse polarity protection by fuse and front panel DC voltage adjustment.

The power supplies are certified with UL/CUL/CB/TUV/CE safety regulation and meet the requirement of IEC60950-1 Limited Power Source (LPS.) Suitable applications for the DRC-40 and DRC-60 include security systems, emergency lighting systems, alarm systems, DC UPS systems, central monitoring systems and access systems.
