PULS UK has announced the launch of its latest space-saving DIN-Rail mounted power supply. Part of the highly successful MiniLine series the new ML100.200 is designed for phase-to-phase operation at 380-480VAC with no neutral. Taking power between two phases reduces terminal space and costs associated with wiring, fuses and installation time.

The PULS ML100.200 provides a 24VDC output at 100W with a hold up time of 48-85ms. This high reliability power supply has an MTBF of 650,000 hours making it an ideal solution for remote locations or critical systems and offers users a very low cost of ownership.

Weighing only 360g the PULS ML 100.200 offers a weight saving over the 50/60Hz control transformers, which are commonly used for low-power control voltages where a neutral wire is not available. Internal fusing, high immunity to transients and power surges as well as low electromagnetic emission makes this DIN-Rail power supply suitable for a wide range of applications and operating environments.

PULS MiniLine power supplies are ultra-compact, measuring just 73x75x103mm and thanks to easy to use spring-clamp terminals, can be installed in seconds with no special tools. The spring-clamp terminals also facilitate mounting in installations with restricted access.

Harry Moore, Managing Director of PULS UK comments, “The MiniLine series was designed from scratch to offer a compact, highly-reliable, cost effective DIN-Rail power supply. We have reduced the number of critical components, such as electrolytic capacitors and only use the highest quality materials and components in production.”

In common with all PULS products the MiniLine series has worldwide safety approvals, including UL, EN, CSA and CB Scheme for industrial, home and office installation. Models also have approval to Hazardous Location Class I Div. 2 (UL 1604). Output voltage is user adjustable between 24 to 28VDC, the PULS Overload Design™ output protection maintains a high output overload capability and selectable single/parallel operation is offered via a simple jumper for current share or N+1 installations. Full output power is available over a wide operating temperature range of -10 to +70°C ensuring continued reliability in extreme environments and a three year warranty completes this “peace of mind” package.
