PCIM Europe 2017 Stand 9-305   Two dual 1200V rated SiC Schottky diodes from IXYS are offered in SOT-227 packages for used in power conversion and motor control applications.

The DCG85X1200NA and the DCG100X1200NA are offered in the SOT-227 MiniBLOC isolated packages. The diodes have an average forward current of 43 and 49A, respectively, at 80°C case temperature. Both are rated at 1200V blocking voltage. The package has 3kV isolation to heat sink and low thermal impedance based on the company’s proprietary matching assembly technology.
Both diodes are electrically isolated from each other inside the package, allowing it to be free to connect to a common source or phase leg configuration. The positive temperature co-efficient of the forward voltage supports paralleling options for higher power applications.

Typical applications are high efficient DC/DC converters, solar inverters, uninterruptible power supplies and rapid chargers.
